Fresh Meat is the ideal British university experience if you’re looking for something funny and dramatic. The series follows the adventures of six first-year students at a university in Manchester who live in a shared house rather than a university residence.
Over the four seasons, they encounter various issues relevant to students, including grades and exams, part-time employment, and partying. I’m sure they are somewhat familiar if you’re a student.
Bad Education
School days were some of the best times in my life. So, if you miss the fun of the school classroom, why not watch Bad Education?
Bad Education is a BBC comedy series about a history teacher, Alfie Wickers (Jack Whitehall), who is a bigger kid than his pupils. Now you may stream all three seasons on Netflix.
Bad Neighbours
It may be considerably worse if you have student neighbors or flatmates you consider a pain. It may be far worse; I’m talking about a fraternity moving in next door. And what are the prospects of a group of university students? There will be parties and mayhem.
So, in this comedy film, when a fraternity moves in next door to a family with a newborn baby, an all-out war erupts between the neighbors.
Life of the Party
Could you imagine sharing your university life with your mother as a student? That’s precisely what happens in Life of the Party, a comedy film about a forty-something divorcee who returns to college with her daughter.
Pitch Perfect (1-3)
If you haven’t seen any of the Pitch Perfect movies and enjoy a good sing-along, make sure they’re on your Netflix queue.
The Barden Bellas are a group of all-girl acapella singers who compete against other Acappella groups to win Nationals. You can also anticipate a laugh a minute, especially since Rebel Wilson is in the films.
Superbad
For this one, we’re back to 2007, when some of you were less than six years old. So, while it may appear ancient, it’s well worth your time.
